Northern Arizona University and the Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies will host a daylong workshop on technology entrepreneurship.
At the Invention to Venture workshop, participants will explore technology entrepreneurship fundamentals; discover how to turn an innovative product idea into a new technology venture; hear lessons from local innovators and entrepreneurs; and network with the people who can help make ideas a reality.
The workshop is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 4 in NAU’s du Bois Center. Featured speakers will be Sharon Ballard, president and CEO of Enable Ventures, Inc., and William Travis, founder and president of ATTIK-US, the U.S. branch of a global marketing firm.
Cost is $10 for students, $40 for faculty and staff, $40 for alumni and clients of Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies, and $50 for others. A participant guide, breakfast, lunch and a networking reception are included in the fee.
