What’s new with The NAU Review?

Dear Lumberjacks,

Welcome, or welcome back! In the spirit of the new academic year, NAU Communications has some news.

We’re still sending out two newsletters a week, but you’ll only see one in your inbox. To better engage with our audiences, we’re sending one newsletter to faculty and staff every Tuesday and we’re sending another newsletter to students every Thursday.

The student newsletter will include student-oriented events, profiles of student clubs and organizations, fun DIYs, Q&As with Lumberjacks studying abroad and first-person experiences from your peers. The faculty and staff newsletter will still have the same content you’re used to seeing, but with announcements and events more focused on employees. (Do you know how many free wellness events EAW offers every month?)

We’ll share different content in these two different editions, but not to worry: Whether you’re a student or employee, you’ll still see plenty of the Lumberjack stories you know and love, including research news, Humans of NAU interviews, fun videos, information about upcoming events and more. And we’ll include a link to the other newsletter edition every week, so you can check out what’s going on in all corners of campus. Plus, you can always find the latest news on The NAU Review site.

In the coming months, we’ll ask you what you think about this new format—what you like, what you’d change and what else you’d like to see.

Our goal at the Review is to tell NAU’s story through news articles, multimedia, social media and the experiences our Lumberjacks have in labs, in the field, at campuses throughout the state or studying or teaching in other countries. We want to hear your story! Submit a story idea anytime.

Let’s kick axe, Lumberjacks!
