NAU’s Inclusion and Multicultural Services is sponsoring a number of events that will showcase the voices and experiences of the university community.

Events include:

Reel Talk: The Debut
6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19
LEADS Center
Ethnic Studies’ An Nguyen will lead a discussion after the screening of The Debut, a movie about a first-generation Filipino high school student struggling with identity formation.

Many Voices: Stories of Today’s Students
6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21
International Pavilion
Faculty, staff and students are invited to learn about and discuss the various cultures and identities represented at universities through the viewing of short interview clips.

Multicultural Festival
3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13
International Pavilion
A celebration of the rich cultural heritage of NAU’s students.

Sambatuque Concert
6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13
International Pavilion
Join Sambatuque, a Brazilian-inspired percussion troupe, for a night of music and dance.

Events are co-sponsored by the International House and Housing and Residence Life.
