University Leadership Program now accepting applications for hybrid series

Northern Arizona University faculty and staff are invited to participate in the 2021-22 University Leadership Program (ULP) to help develop and prepare future university leaders. Applications are being accepted now until 5 p.m. on May 24.

ULP focuses on identifying, informing and investing in future university leaders while breaking down barriers. Participants explore leadership skills, discuss challenges facing the university and higher education and learn how the Arizona university system functions.

This year, the program is only accepting 20 participants and will hold a series of hybrid sessions every Friday starting in September, which adhere to the CDC guidelines and the learning options NAU offers. Participants must commit time for preparation in addition to their commitment of attending each session.

All sessions run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following days:

  • Sept. 10
  • Oct. 8
  • Nov. 12
  • Jan. 7
  • Feb. 11
  • March 11
  • April 8
  • May 6 (graduation)

To apply or nominate someone for the program, fill out an application on the ULP webpage and email it to universityleadershipprogram@nau.edu. Additional questions should be directed to the same email address or by calling (928) 523-3232.
