The season of giving: Make an impact by donating to United Way of Northern Arizona

For more than 50 years, Northern Arizona University has partnered with United Way of Northern Arizona (UWNA) to raise money to improve the community.

This year, NAU’s goal is to raise $47,000, and everyone is encouraged to contribute. Donations can be made in several ways on NAU’s United Ways website: NAU faculty and staff can fill out an online form for payroll deduction, or people can fill out an online form to make a credit card or check donation. The last day to donate is Dec. 28.

The nonprofit organization focuses its resources on critical human care needs throughout the community, with the belief that each individual deserves quality education that leads to a stable career which will support a family through retirement and good health. The UNWA board of directors is composed of local volunteers that partner with the local government, businesses, faith community, education, nonprofits and individuals.
