Choose between a monstrous variety of spooky and fun events for students, faculty and staff happening this Halloween at NAU.
- Campus Dining is serving up plenty of treats, including a Halloween-themed lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Hot Spot and The DüB. Menus will feature skeleton bones, eyeball soup, a Vulcan vegan burrito, The Thing from the Swamp Sandwich and more. And don’t miss out on the pumpkin-carving contest at The DüB, with a chance to win up to $100 in dining dollars. Details are online.
- For some scary fun, the men of Taylor Hall present their annual haunted house from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 29 and 30 and 7 p.m. to midnight Oct. 31 in Taylor Hall. The Haunted House is geared toward high-school students or older and costs $5, or $4 with a can of food.
- Work off that Halloween candy with a free Zumba class at the Recreation Center from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. Zumba is a fitness phenomenon that fuses Latin and international music and dance themes creating a fun and effective fitness experience. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and take part in a costume contest. The center also will be giving away lots of healthy treats.
- The 13th annual Halloween Extravaganza will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31, in the du Bois Center Ballroom. NAU students, faculty and staff are invited to bring their children to this free event to enjoy a safe and fun night featuring treats, games and more.
