NAU’s annual International Week kicks off Monday, April 18, with the Parade of Nations, a procession where international students will bear the flags of their countries during a campus march.
Sponsored by the Center for International Education, International Week runs from April 18-22 and hosts events which explore a range of cultures from around the globe.
The festivities include study abroad informational sessions, film screenings, panel discussions and an International Festival. Flavors from around the world will be featured at the Hot Spot and DuB all week long.
The NAU community is invited to apply for a new passport or renewal from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Blome building. Information about required paperwork, passport fees and photos can be found here. A processing fee of $25 will be waived for NAU affiliates.
Rounding out the week’s festivities is the International Idol talent show at 7 p.m. Friday, April 22, showcasing music, dance and other cultural performances from NAU students and clubs. Participants can sign up at the Center for International Education or email Andrew Janusz at Andrew.Janusz@nau.edu.
