- Senior swimmer Hope Williams broke Northern Arizona University’s school record for the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.14 at the WAC Championships. Her performance won her first place at the championships, where she beat her previous record time of 1:01.16.
- Sophomore runner Abdihamid Nur was selected as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s NCAA Division I National Male Athlete of the Week. The men’s team was No. 1 at the Battle Born Collegiate Challenge with Nur leading the way crossing the 8K finish line with a personal record of 22.30.5.
