Shrine of the Ages Choir presents its season finale

Northern Arizona University’s Shrine of the Ages Choir will present its season finale, conducted by Edith A. Copley, director of choral studies, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2. Vocal and choral scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year also will be presented.

Selections will include works by Handel and Brahms, as well as A Winter Landscape, a piece written for the Shrine of the Ages Choir by choral composer Lane Johnson.

In Remembrance, by Jeffrey Ames, will be performed as a special tribute to the late Michael Sullivan, professor of clarinet.

The concert will be at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel, 16 W. Cherry Ave. Admission is free, donations will be accepted. For information, contact the Choral Studies Office at (928) 523-2642.
