The Senior Corps of Northern and Central Arizona, part of NAU’s Gerontology Institute, will hold its annual Bubbles & Bids fundraiser at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at the High Country Conference Center.
The 19th annual Bubbles & Bids event features entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, Vegas-style gaming and a silent auction with more than 100 items for bid, including hotel stays in Florida and Mexico, jewelry, art, sports memorabilia, restaurant and other hotel gift certificates and more.
Tickets are $25, with proceeds from the event to benefit Senior Corps programs, which utilize seniors age 55 and over as volunteers in communities in northern and central Arizona.
Volunteers are needed at the event and tickets are discounted to NAU faculty and staff at $20 per ticket. For tickets or volunteering, contact Carole Mandino at 523-6584.
