Returning to Flagstaff for the second consecutive season, the Phoenix Suns kick off their training camp at Northern Arizona University Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The team and the Suns Gorilla can be seen on campus and around the city all week long, including during this Friday’s Art Walk in downtown Flagstaff.
The Suns will finish off the week with an intersquad scrimmage starting at noon Saturday, Oct. 4, in the Skydome. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a postgame autograph session with the team on the floor immediately following the scrimmage.
The team opens the preseason at home against the Rio de Janeiro Flamengo at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at US Airways Center, the start of a seven-game exhibition schedule in preparation for the team’s 47th NBA season.
