Members of the Northern Arizona University commuity are invited to showcase their True Blue spirit as they represent the university in the annual Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce’s Independence Day Parade, beginning at 9 a.m. Wedensday, July 4, through downtown Flagstaff.
Faculty, staff, students, alumni and family members are invited to join in the festivities by walking, biking, skating or pushing strollers along with the NAU entry.
University representatives will be distributing giveaways along the parade route and carrying their academic and department banners. Participants should dress in their best NAU gear; T-shirts are available at the NAU Bookstore starting at $12.95.
Those participating with the NAU entry should meet by 8 a.m. at Staging Area C on Hunt between Humphreys and Beaver. The parade begins promptly at 9 a.m.
