Benefits Open Enrollment runs through 11 p.m. Sept. 4. All university employees must re-enroll in benefits even if they are not making changes in vendors or plans.
A few items to help you avoid confusion:
- The open enrollment guide you received at home does not include NAU’s Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plan (for NAU employees only). The guide talks about a Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan administered by Ameriben. This is not the same cost or coverage as the NAU Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan.
- NAU employees have a choice of two dental providers: Delta Dental and Total Dental Administrators.
- Monthly premiums for some dental options will increase for employees beginning Oct. 1.
- Total Dental Administrators has had few Flagstaff area dentists participating. Human Resources has contacted local dentists to encourage their participation. As more dentists become certified providers, the list will be updated at totaldentaladmin.com.
