Students and departments across campus are celebrating Native American Heritage Month in November, a monthlong tribute to Native/American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian heritage.
Events and activities that promote awareness of indigenous culture and contributions include:
- the annual Miss Indian NAU Pageant
- Native American-themed lunch and dinner menu items at campus dining halls
- Cline Library film series
- guest speakers and performers
