The National Weather Service in Flagstaff will visit Northern Arizona University to provide free severe weather training for the campus and community.
The training is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, in room 101 of Health Professions, building 66. Topics of discussion will include basics of thunderstorm development, fundamentals of storm structure, identification of potential severe weather features and basic severe weather safety.
