Northern Arizona University’s Chamber Singers and the Shrine of the Ages Choir will present their season finale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 1.
The Chamber Singers will perform works by John Ward, G. F. Handel, Aaron McDermid and Morten Lauridsen. Graduate assistants German Aguilar, Jennifer Hutton and Sally Dunn, all in the master’s of choral conducting degree program, will direct.
The Shrine of the Ages Choir will perform selections by Eric Whitacre, Nadia Boulanger and Johannes Brahms. Edith Copley, director of choral studies, will direct.
The concert will be at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel, 16 W. Cherry Ave. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. For information, contact the Choral Studies Office at (928) 523-2642.
