Students and departments across campus are celebrating Native American Heritage Month in November, a monthlong tribute to Native/American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian heritage.
Events and activities that promote awareness of indigenous culture and contributions include:
- “Moc Mondays“
- Indigenous Human Rights Speaker Series
- the annual Miss Indian NAU Pageant
- “Celebrating foods of the Southwest” campus dining event
- guest speakers and performers
