NAU’s Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band will begin the spring concert season next week.
The Wind Symphony concert will feature guest alto saxophone soloist Jonathan Bergeron and guest composer Brett William Dietz, associate professor at the Louisiana State University School of Music. The symphony will perform Ingolf Dahl’s “Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Wind Ensemble” with Bergeron and Dietz’s “Symphony for Wind Orchestra.”
The Symphonic Band performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, and the Wind Symphony performs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25. Concerts are held in Ardrey Auditorium. View the concert schedule for the remainder of the semester here.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and NAU faculty and staff. Students with a valid NAU ID and children are free.
