Military and Veteran Student Center collageThe NAU Military and Veteran Student Center is welcoming military and veteran students and their families and students using their parents’ GI Bill benefits to the center’s new location in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, bldg. 33, room 108D.

An open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, where students can get to know one another and the center’s staff, learn more about the NAU Chapter of the Student Veterans of America, sign up for free recreational events held throughout the year and learn about part-time employment opportunities with the center.

NAU faculty and staff who are military veterans also are invited to come mingle and welcome new students.

Visitors to the center are asked to use the building’s northeast entrance on San Francisco Street, which faces the Health and Learning Center.
