The Lumberjack community is invited to celebrate Independence Day during the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce’s annual parade downtown at 9 a.m. Monday, July 4. The university will be closed in observance of the holiday.
More than 100 floats driven by local businesses and community organizations will travel the parade route that begins on Beaver Street and Elm Avenue and ends at San Francisco Street and Elm Avenue.
Participants should plan to be at the staging area on Fine Avenue between Humphreys Street and Beaver Street by 8 a.m. Show your Lumberjack and patriotic spirit and make sure to wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Contact Alyssa Deaver with questions.
