Ladhoff lecture series explores criminality of climate change

Ronald Kramer, professor of sociology and director of the Criminal Justice Program at Western Michigan University, will give a public lecture titled “Climate Crimes: Exxon and 30 years of corporate climate deception” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Raul H. Castro Social and Behavioral Sciences building, room 111.

Kramer’s research focuses on state, corporate and government crime, and his most recent publications include State-Corporate Crime: Wrongdoing at the Intersection of Business and Government and State Crime in the Global Age.

His visit is part of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice’s Ladhoff Lecture Series.
