Campus Recreation kids camps at NAU open for registration

Campus Recreation’s Mountain Jacks and Explorers Kids camp is accepting registration for children from Flagstaff and the surrounding community.

Enthusiastic camp leaders create engaging and non-traditional program opportunities ensured to enhance children’s summer activities.

The Mountain Jacks Kids Camp is open to all youth entering kindergarten through fifth grade. Each day, campers will be led through various activities to keep them active, engaged and enjoying their experience. The camp includes FitKids group fitness classes led by certified instructors, aquatics programming and swimming at the Aquatics & Tennis Complex, rock climbing, guest visits and field trips.

The Explorers Camp is open to all youth entering sixth through eighth grade and is limited to 20 campers each week. In addition to the Mountain Jacks Kid Camp activities listed, Explorers will participate in the NAU Challenge Course, earn an American Red Cross Babysitting Certification and explore more of the natural beauty of Northern Arizona.

NAU students, faculty, staff and alumni are eligible to receive discounts for their children to attend camp.

Registration options are available at weekly or 5-week session rates between June 5 and Aug. 11.
