The NAU Jazz Program will present a series of concerts this fall under the direction of Christopher Finet, assistant professor of string bass and jazz studies.
Concerts will feature a creative approach to jazz standards as well as original compositions and arrangements by NAU students.
“This semester will focus on continued development of ensemble playing skills in big band and small group settings, as well as a strong emphasis in improvisation with numerous guest artist workshops,” Finet said.
