- Graduate students in applied linguistics Brett Hashimoto, Daniel Keller, Ekaterina Sudina and Katherine Yaw, along with associate English professors Jesse Egbert and Luke Plonsky, published the article, “Research in progress: Applied linguistics at Northern Arizona University, USA,” in Language Teaching. The article outlines current research activity by NAU faculty and students in applied linguistics across five major focus areas: corpus linguistics, second-language speech, research methods, second language acquisition and psycholinguistics.
