- Department of Biological Sciences Regents’ professor Ted Schuur is a co-author on a policy forum paper titled “A global methane observation system to track climate feedbacks for verifiable climate impact,” published in Science. The publication attempts to close the climate change mitigation policy gaps that come from ignoring natural sources of methane.
- NAU ranked No. 36 on The Princeton Review’s Top 50 Undergraduate Schools for Game Design for 2026 list for its immersive media and games bachelor’s program, also placing No. 2 on the review’s undergraduate Southwest list. The Princeton Review chooses schools based on a survey of more than 150 university administrators for schools offering game design programs.
- The Animation Career Review also ranked NAU’s animation program No. 3 on its 2026 Top 5 Animation Programs in Arizona list. The review ranks animation programs based on data compiled from surveys, employment networks and past rankings published in the past decade.
