- The NAU men’s and women’s cross-country teams both ranked No. 1 in their respective 2025 Big Sky Conference preseason coaches’ polls. The women earned all 10 of the women’s cross-country poll’s first-place votes, and the men claimed nine in the men’s cross-country poll.
- Nurses Educational Funds Inc. (NEF) awarded Savanna Medina, a graduate student in NAU’s College of Nursing, its 2025 Madeline A. Naegle Scholarship for Mental Health Nursing. NEF awards scholarships to graduate-level nursing students who display academic excellence, leadership capabilities and a potential for making an impact in the nursing profession.
