Ty Holliday, who is studying geography, environment and society, has been named a Transportation Research Board (TRB) Minority Student Fellow for their impressive transportation field and in TRB activities diversity development research. Holliday will present their research in early January at TRB’s Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Yimin Wang, assistant professor for educational leadership and vice provost for global affairs, was appointed as the new Coconino County representative of the Arizona-Mexico Commission Board of Directors. As part of the commission, Wang will help ensure partnerships to create jobs, as well as help grow the economy, promote cultural exchange and help keep every community safe.
