- School of Communication professor Laura Camden had her photograph “School Recess,” taken in Mainpat, India, juried into the “Peoples of the World: Works on Paper” exhibition at the Texas Tech University International Cultural Center. This exhibit, consisting of portrait photographs from a range of countries, will be on display until June.
- A group of 27 representatives from NAU’s Department of English, composed of seven professors and 22 doctoral students, presented at the annual American Association of Applied Linguistics conference in Denver. NAU had the highest number of current faculty and student presenters of all present institutions.
- The NAU chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity raised $116,572 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) during its annual philanthropy week in March. This achievement places NAU in the top four Sigma Chi chapters nationwide for HCI fundraising this year.
