- Colin Sahlman was named the USTFCCCA National Men’s Track Athlete of the Week following his impressive 1,500-meter performance this weekend. Sahlman set a new school and conference record in the invitational 1,500-meter at the Bryan Clay Invitational as he took the event win, running a time of 3:33.96. His time is also the second-fastest in collegiate history.
- Madeline Wilson was named Big Sky Women’s Track Athlete of the Week last week following her school record-breaking 200-meter performance at the UNLV Rebels Elite. Wilson ran a time of 22.98 to break the NAU record and take the 200-meter event win. Her time puts her at 10th in the nation so far this season in the event.
- NAU Printing Services received an honor from the 2024 In-Print Awards for a flyer advertising NAU Health initiatives to a legislative audience. The winning piece is the latest collaboration between Printing Services and University Marketing to gain recognition for outstanding advertising quality. Out of almost 400 contest submissions, NAU is one of 36 institutions to win a gold award, and the only gold winner in the Small Shops – Flyers category.
- Melissa Lawton, Archivist for Collections Management, recently published “What Do You Know? Collaborating with Donors on Description During Accessioning” in Descriptive Notes, the blog of the Description Section of the Society of American Archivists.
