The School of Music’s Horizons Concert Series returns for its fall season with a compilation of musical offerings for NAU and the Flagstaff community.
The series kicks off with Orchid Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in Ashurst Hall. The ensemble blends “ancient musical instruments and traditions from China and beyond” to create its signature East/West sound.
Future concerts include a contemporary solo-violin repertoire by Davis Brooks on Oct. 19 and a William Shakespeare tribute by acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Swann on Nov. 9. A full concert list is available online.
Individual tickets for the Horizons Concert Series are $20 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and NAU faculty and staff. Admission is free for children ages 17 and younger and NAU students with an ID. Tickets are available online and by calling (928) 523-5661 or (888) 520-7214.
Free parking will be available in Lot P3, P4 and P8.
