Faculty, staff and students are invited to join Dan Goebel, the new dean of the W. A. Franke College of Business, for a lunchtime President’s Healthy U Wellness Walk next Wednesday.
The walk will start at noon on Aug. 9, both beginning and ending at the west entrance of the Franke College of Business (building 81). The south campus loop, known as Louie Lunch South, provides one- or two-mile options. The walk should last 30-45 minutes depending on individual walking speed.
There will be snacks available after the walk courtesy of the Office of the President. A second President’s HealthyU Wellness Walk will take place Sept. 6 at the same place.
The walk will take place rain or shine. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen and carry a water bottle. Registration is not required. All are welcome. Employees can record their participation in this walk on their azblue.com account and earn one point toward 2018 HealthyU incentive in the “HealthyU Classes and Events” category.
