The first in a series of Grand Canyon National Park lectures, “Excavating Along the Colorado River: New Archaeological Research in Grand Canyon National Park,” by archaeologist Lisa Leap, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the Cline Library Assembly Hall.
The event is part of the 2009 Ranger Lecture Series: Conversations on the Edge, sponsored by the Grand Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon Association. The series is free, open to the public, and continues through May. For information, go to nationalparksgallery.com
