If you have a green thumb, put it to use volunteering to beautify the barren southwest corner of Milton and Clay avenues from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 29.
The city of Flagstaff is organizing a community-planting day in conjunction with NAU, the Flagstaff Master Gardeners Association and the La Plaza Vieja Neighborhood Association.
