Come enjoy the lush sound of an expanded string ensemble from the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra performing “Masterworks II” at Northern Arizona University’s Ardrey Memorial Auditorium.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26. A pre-show at 6:30 p.m. will give the audience an opportunity to speak with the conductor about the evening’s program.
The program is conducted by Charles Latshaw and features the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra’s strings and Jung-min Amy Lee, associate concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra. They will perform Ralph Vaughan William’s “Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis,” Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” and Peter Tchaikovsky’s “Serenade for Strings in C major, op. 48.”
