Northern Arizona University’s fall commencement ceremony calls for students to don caps and gowns, with a chance for gloves, coats and other winter attire. The 2,500 newest members of the alumni family will earn degrees during two ceremonies scheduled for Dec. 19 in the Skydome in Flagstaff.
As part of the observances, two nonprofit leaders will be recognized for their partnership with NAU and continued support of education in Arizona.
Commencement ceremonies are scheduled as follows:
Thursday, Dec. 19
10 a.m.
This ceremony is for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students in:
- The College of Education
- The College of Health and Human Services
- The W.A. Franke College of Business
Thursday, Dec. 19
3 p.m.
This ceremony is for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students in:
- The College of Arts and Letters
- The College of Engineering, Forestry and Natural Sciences
- The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Extended Campuses
- University College
