Explore Cline Library’s Native American collection

A collection of books written by Native authors.

Did you know that Cline Library has a wide collection of books and media by and about Native creators? In honor of Native American Heritage Month, go check them out:

And check out the books in the Feature Collection area, across from the Ask Us Desk.

The books in the collection are contemporary award-winning books of high interest including fiction, nonfiction, history, poetry, memoir, and more by and about Indigenous peoples.

Starting on Nov. 1, the Office of Inclusion (IMQ) will be raffling books on their Instagram (@nau_inclusion) They are also available at the Cline Library for check out!

More titles with established writers such as Louise Erdrich, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, and Joy Harjo as well as newer writers such as Tommy Orange, Stephen Graham Jones, and Jake Skeet can be found in the Native American Heritage Collection, the stacks and in Special Collections and Archives.
