NAU 4 All, a student advocacy organization that strives to create a more inclusive environment on campus, is inviting faculty, staff and students to join in its annual Scavenger Hunt at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, beginning in front of the du Bois Center.
Participants will traverse campus and discuss issues of physical and social access for individuals with disabilities. The event is an alternative way to explore traditional disability simulations, which tend to perpetuate misunderstandings about the experience of people with disabilities.
The scavenger hunt will conclude with a discussion at 4:30 p.m. in the Fremont Room of du Bois.
