The 2021 Employee Development Day, Pathway to Excellence: Develop U, will take place virtually from May 10-21. The event offers sessions on personal and professional development and encourages active participation in Flagstaff Bike Month.
Over a two-week period, the event offers more than 50 sessions that cover a variety of topics, which address everything from happiness in the work place and guiding student financial success to estate planning and wildlife photography. Lunch & Learn opportunities will focus specifically on topics such as trust, leadership and community engagement.
In addition to the virtual sessions, each Friday will feature a “grab-n-go” element where participants are encouraged to pick up coffee and a pastry anytime between 9-10:30 a.m. on May 14 and 21 located on north and south campus respectively. There also will be freebies that enhance learning and Development Day T-shirts to commemorate the event.
All sessions are free and open to NAU staff and faculty, but registration is required. Full details of each session and registration for all events can be found by visiting the Pathway to Excellence 2021 webpage.
To further encourage a HealthyU through physical activity, Develop U also acknowledges Flagstaff Bike Month celebrated during May. Participate by logging the days you ride on Flagstaffbiking.org. Each day is a chance to win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. Find more biking events this month on the Flagstaff Biking webpage.
