Choral Studies concert season begins

Women's Chorale

Women's ChoraleThe NAU choirs will open their concert season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, with the annual Fall Festival of Choirs. The performance will be held in the Ardrey Memorial Auditorium, and the choirs performing will be the Harold M. Harter Memorial Handbell Choir, Men’s Chorale, University Singers, Women’s Chorale and the Shrine of the Ages Choir.

Enjoy traditional choral works by Dvorak and Bruchner, multi-cultural songs from Zimbabwe, Haiti, Bulgaria and India, and contemporary works, including a Women’s Chorale premiere by Timothy Takach, a barbershop favorite by the Men’s Chorale and rhythmic spirituals by three of the choirs.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for faculty, staff and seniors. Students with a valid NAU ID and children ages 17 and younger are free. For advance tickets call (928) 523-5661, toll free (888) 520-7214, purchase online at nau.edu/cto or go to the Central Ticket Office in the University Union.
