A full-length play inspired by the life of former Arizona Gov. Raul H. Castro is coming to Flagstaff for two performances on Saturday, Oct. 20.
American Dreamer: The Life and Times of Raul H. Castro, will be presented at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Coconino High School. Organizers say Castro, an alumnus of Northern Arizona University, will be in town for NAU’s homecoming activities and plans to attend the matinee performance.
The play was written by Phoenix-based playwright James E. Garcia and is produced by New Carpa Theatre Co.
