Several events will mark Campus Sustainability Day on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
Don Jordan, from SCA Tissue, will discuss “Sustainability in Today’s Business World: Walking the Talk” from 11 a.m. to noon in the W.A. Franke College of Business Gardner Auditorium.
Members of the university’s Environmental Caucus will discuss Bill McKibben’s book EAARTH from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Applied Research and Development Building, small “pod” conference room. Discover the NAU Sustainability Course Expo from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Applied Research and Development Building, large “pod” conference room.
Tune in to NAU Channels 37-46 all day Wednesday for sustainability documentaries and films including The Planet Earth series, Food Inc. and more.
There also will be new healthy offerings in the Hotspot and The DuB along with chef demonstrations throughout the day.
