Joanne Belknap, author of The Invisible Woman, will give a public lecture beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Raul H. Castro Social and Behavioral Sciences building, room 104.
Belknap is president-elect of the American Society of Criminology and a professor of sociology at the University of Boulder-Colorado. Her visit is part of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice’s Ladhoff Lecture Series. Her lecture is co-sponsored by the Departments of Politics and International Affairs, Sociology and Social Work, Women’s and Gender Studies and Sustainable Communities.
