Attendees of the 2013 Assessment Fair visit with presenters to learn more about various university assessment efforts.

Campus efforts to examine student learning and satisfaction and evaluate university programs and services will be featured at NAU’s 12th annual Assessment Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the High Country Conference Center.

The event will feature approximately 50 poster presentations highlighting the assessment of programs and services across the university—including student employment, undergraduate research, course design and outdoor education.

A “People’s Choice” prize determined by popular vote of attendees and a “Judges’ Choice” prize determined by a panel of judges will be presented at 4:30 p.m.

Attendees also are invited to participate in one of three roundtables that will be held from 2-2:50 p.m. in rooms on the second floor of the conference center. The topics are: Rubric Swap; Making Connections Between Course and Program Assessment; and NAU University-Wide Student Learning Outcomes. Space is limited; RSVP for a roundtable here.
