NAU Football will take on Northern Colorado at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 in the Skydome, and Lumberjacks of all ages are encouraged to participate in the Halloween fun.
Game attendees dressed in costume can purchase a discounted $10 ticket at the NAU Ticket Box Office. Children are also invited to trick-or-treat in the Skydome concourse with Lumberjack athletes beginning at 12:30 p.m. All fans in costume can participate in a costume contest at halftime.
The game will also be the university’s first “Green Game” sponsored by the Office of Sustainability, Campus Dining and NAU Athletics. Green NAU and volunteers will be at the NAU tailgate and football game promoting and encouraging sustainability efforts. To reduce waste, concession stands will offer recyclable and compostable packaging for refreshments and food items, along with bulk condiments. A three bin system for recycling, compost and landfill will be provided throughout the Skydome concourse with volunteers to assist fans and answer questions.
