Filmgoers in Flagstaff will join audiences in more than 200 cities spanning six continents to view and judge the work of established and next-generation filmmakers when Northern Arizona University hosts the 13th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival on Sept. 29.
The festival begins at 7 p.m. Sept. 29 at Cline Library Assembly Hall. Admission is free.
Of the 598 entries from 48 countries, Manhattan Short selected 10 films as finalists. Each film is 18 minutes or less in length, and planners say the films will not only entertain a global audience but be judged by them as well.
Information is online, including links to view movie trailers and read interviews with the filmmakers.
