- Kelly Kendro, an applied linguistics doctoral student, received a doctoral dissertation grant from The International Research Foundation for English Language Education. Kendro was one of 16 awardees and was recognized for her research investigating how the terms “bilingual” and “language attrition” are defined by different entities.
- FCS Football Central named four NAU Lumberjacks—Kolbe Katsis, Quentin Moten, Jeter Purdy and Ramere Davis—as All-Americans. Katsis was honored as an all-purpose player on the second team, while Moten was recognized as a third-team defensive back. Purdy and Davis were placed on the FCS Football Central Freshman All-American Team as a tight end and linebacker, respectively.
