  • Fred DeMicco, a School of Hotel and Restaurant Management retiree and affiliate, co-authored the paper “Robot Acceptance and Service Quality in Food Delivery: An Expanded TAM-based Study,” published in the International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction. The study uses data from more than 1,100 robot delivery service users to determine which factors influence whether customers are satisfied with the technology. 
  • School of Forestry alumnus Gerald Tuskan was awarded the 2025 Marcus Wallenberg Prize for his work sequencing and analyzing the first tree genome in 2006. The Marcus Wallenberg Prize is considered the highest award in the forestry field, recognizing individuals who have spearheaded revolutionary scientific achievements within the industry.  
  • NAU was one of 388 schools included in The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges: 2026 Edition, a comprehensive list of universities that practice and promote environmental responsibility. The Princeton Review evaluates schools based on their sustainability programs, environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
