While the university will be closed for regular business on Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day holiday, the 1899 Bar & Grill will be open and offering a 40 percent lunch discount to veterans.
The restaurant’s extensive lunch menu includes burgers, sandwiches, light combinations and entrées.
The special runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11. A show of ID verifying veteran or active military status is all that is necessary to receive the discount.
The 1899 Bar & Grill is located in the historic North Union building on NAU’s north campus at 307 W. DuPont. Free parking is available at the High Country Conference Center across the street.
Lunch and dinner menus are available online. Dining Dollars, Jacks Dining Express, cash and credit are accepted.
