In May, Capital Planning and Campus Operations will round up all abandoned bikes on campus.
People with bikes on campus must place a green tag on their bike to avoid collection. Bikes with green tags will not be collected, and green tags only need to stay on the bikes through the end of May. Green tags are now available from the front desk at the University Union, Facility Services and Contracts, Purchasing and Risk Management, University Transit and Property Surplus.
Collected bikes will be held for the required 30 days before being sold through Property Surplus.
If a bike is accidentally picked up, the owner should contact Property Surplus at (928) 523-4163 to arrange a time for pick up.
The goal is to round up those left behind, so be sure to place a green tag on bikes that are still being used.
