The right recipe in running, like cooking, can make all the difference. Jack Daniels, head distance coach at the Center for High Altitude Training, will share his formula for being a great runner in an upcoming presentation at Northern Arizona University.
Titled, “The Ingredients of Running Success,” this educational talk is open to the public and will benefit runners, coaches and parents. The talk is scheduled for 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Gardner Auditorium of The W.A. Franke College of Business. The event is free.
“There are four key ingredients for success in sport,” Daniels said. “These ingredients apply in distance running or in any other pursuit in life for that matter.”
Daniels has 31 years of experience in track and cross country, coaching 31 individual NCAA National Champions, eight NCAA National Team Champions and 131 All Americans.
